Where Tradition Finds
Its Modern Voice.
Welcome to Folk Art People, a dedicated community hub and creative agency centered on the preservation, curation, and revitalization of regional heritage. We bridge the gap between ancient craftsmanship and contemporary cultural tourism, transforming fading legacies into vibrant, sustainable experiences.

We are
A multi-faceted platform designed for those who believe heritage is a living, breathing asset.
-
Cultural Curation: We specialize in identifying, documenting, and elevating local art forms and historical sites for modern audiences.
-
Heritage Strategy: From architectural conservation consulting to designing immersive heritage walks, we provide the technical and creative roadmap to preserve what matters.
-
Community Networking: A collaborative space for artisans, historians, and tourism professionals to share resources, gain training, and build collective influence.
-
Experiential Tourism: Crafting high-end, authentic travel narratives that connect discerning travelers with the heart of regional tradition.
We don't just display artifacts; we celebrate the stories, the hands, and the histories behind them. By combining modern design sensibilities with traditional aesthetics, we ensure that local culture remains relevant, respected, and economically viable in a rapidly changing world.

We provide
The true value of our heritage, that lies in the people who keep it alive.

HERITAGE FOOD TRAILS
01
A Heritage Food Trail is a walk through a place’s past, guided by its flavors. It connects food, culture, history, and community — showing how what people eat tells the story of who they are. What it includes: 1. Historic Eateries - Iconic hotels, tea shops, and bakeries that have served generations. Places where recipes haven’t changed in 50-100 years. 2. Traditional Dishes - Local specialties tied to festivals, temples, and daily life. From street snacks to community meals and home-style cooking. 3. Food & Culture Stories - The origin of each dish, who brought it, and how trade, migration, and religion shaped the local food map. 4. Markets & Ingredients - Visits to old markets, spice shops, and ingredient stores that have been the backbone of the cuisine. 5. People Behind the Food - Meeting the makers — the 3rd generation baker, the halwa maker, the tea master — and hearing their stories.
